“The location to the ferry can't be beat. The staff was excellent, especially Minh, and what can one say about the fabulous Max. The rooms were comfy in our traditional tatami suite. Excellent breakfast as well..Hands down, the best bagels in Japan. Arigato Max and staff!”

“Hotel incorporated into a velodrome away from the port but easy walk to catch the ferry to the islands. Lunch and dinner menu's offered are not up to Japanese standard so you need to eat at Uno port unless you want fried food. Breakfast okay but no fresh fruit. A word of warning even if you just want a drink at the restaurant after your day you need to book at reception on your return to the hotel. Also need to book shuttle if you want transfer to Uno station on any day. Bike hire available for...

“Great hotel a few meters from Bikan Historical Quarter. Good standard size room, staff polite and professional, the onsen is a plus. The breakfast spread could be improved by providing more choices for western guests. All that rice and fish were too much for the western taste. A cereal or yoghurt wouldn’t hurt. ”

“This hotel-resort is well loved by young Japanese families. For a tourist passing through Uno area it is 20 minutes from Uno by bus or taxi. The hotel sits alone in this area with a beautiful beach. Staff is very helpful ”
